When you arrive, you will be shuttled from the airport to Beth Chesed Orphanage, where you will be assigned a bunk. The group will be bunking in the same sleeping quarters as the children, women, with the girls and men, with the boys.

Tuesday, October 9:
Orphanage Day. We will receive a tour of the orphanage, learning how the children and workers maintain the property. We will be blessed to spend time with Hernst, our director, and the children, and learn the history of our orphanage. We will also take part in a hands-on project.

Wednesday, October 10:
Visit “The Tabernacle”. The Tabernacle is what we’d call a mega-church. Day and night, there are Christians worshiping and warring in Spirit. Rabbi Peter Oliveira will deliver a message. This experience will be unforgettable!

You will then be shuttled to La Canovienne Hotel in Marlique, Petionville, where you will stay for the remainder of your time. After “roughing it” at the orphanage, the hotel will be a refreshing change!
