IT STARTED WITH AN ORPHANAGE
Beth Chesed (House of Kindness in Hebrew), is an orphanage in the fertile fields of Caracol, on the north coast of Haiti. This orphanage is unique in that it is run by a Messianic Jewish congregation some 1500 miles away, on the east coast of the smallest state in the US, the state of Rhode Island.
When this congregation was entrusted with the responsibility to care for these children, it began to teach them the instructions that G-d gave to the children of Israel. Before long, signs and wonders followed. It then became clear that G-d had a much bigger plan than simply helping orphans with food, clothing, and shelter. He desires to heal Haiti, a little nation instrumental in the rebirth of the state of Israel in 1948… and He will do it with the one thing that will never pass away, His Word.
As it is written, “He will not be disheartened or crushed until He establishes justice on earth. The islands will wait for His Torah.” Isa 42:4
