IT STARTED WITH AN ORPHANAGE

Beth Chesed, meaning “House of Kindness” in Hebrew, is an orphanage and family center located in the fertile fields of Caracol on Haiti’s north coast. It serves as a sanctuary of peace and hope in a nation devastated by turmoil. Approximately 40 children are lovingly cared for, provided with food, clothing, shelter, and education. Most importantly, they are taught that they are cherished children of the Most High God. Each morning begins with the recitation of the “Shema,” affirming God’s Oneness, believing in Yeshua (Jesus) as their Messiah and Savior.

At Beth Chesed, the children are guided toward self-sufficiency, maintaining their own land in obedience to the Word of God. Within the gates of this haven, our gracious Father has caused the once-barren land to bloom and flourish with life and vegetation. It is our prayer that Beth Chesed shines as a beacon of light and hope, bringing renewal and restoration to this suffering nation.

As it is written, “He will not be disheartened or crushed until He establishes justice on earth. The islands will wait for His Torah.” Isa 42:4
